Do black cats really bring bad luck?

Remember the myth that black cats bring bad luck? Well, it seems that for some it’s bad luck and for some good fortune!

The motif of this pattern is indeed a black cat, but at a first glance, one doesn’t even notice. A happy, mischievously smiling fox riding a scooter is at the centre of attention instead. She could surely pass off her “bad luck” as a happy charm 😊 The balloons and the fancy scarf around her neck just add to the picture’s positive vibe.

The colorful pallet together with the simplicity and integrity of the picture give it a childlike maybe even a naive look.

Here’s another peak into the creative process.  As you can see in the pictures, the program displays the color transitions as quite harsh, whilst in reality the colors are really pretty and go together well. The color pallete needs to be calibrated for the colors to be displayed correctly also on the screen, which is something I’m still a bit daunted by. I’d like to dive in deeper and complete a course on color calibration. In the picture you can also see a real example of the colors to prove that the end result will truly be great.

I am slowly but surely inching my way towards the finale. I hope that you’re as excited to see the result as I am.

You can still pre-order the pattern at a truly great price on my eshop
